The JEA/NSPA Partner Project is designed to help journalism teachers and their students develop sufficient skills necessary for producing student media and to connect them to a larger network in the form of a professional learning community with veteran journalism teachers and their students.

In addition to breakout sessions, this FREE workshop will include activities designed to form or strengthen local connections and professional learning communities.

Leading our workshop are Michelle Balmeo, MJE, and Ellen Austen, MJE.

* Light breakfast and lunch will be provided *

Schedule:
8:30 AM – Registration
9:00 AM – Opening/Keynote/Group Activity “The Power of Student Media”
10:00 AM – Breakout sessions
11:00 AM – Breakout sessions
12:00 PM – Lunch
1:00 PM – Breakout sessions
2:00 PM – Breakout sessions
4:00 PM – Closing
