Senior Madison George, the editor in chief of the Russellog yearbook at C. M. Russell High School in Great Falls, has been named the Montana High School Journalist of the Year. George has spent four years in the CMR journalism department, serving in roles including staff writer, copy editor and editor in chief. She also has been named a National Merit Semi Finalist.

The Montana Newspaper Association generously awards the senior a $1,000 college scholarship.
