The Great Thanksgiving Listen is a national education project that empowers high school students to create an oral history of the contemporary United States by interviewing an elder over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend using the free StoryCorps app. With consent of all participants, these treasured recordings will be entered into the StoryCorps archive in the American Folklife Center at the Library of Congress. The Great Thanksgiving Listen is a project about the sharing of wisdom, gratitude and respect across generations.
