The annual gathering of MEA is taking place Oct. 20-21  in Helena this year, and on Thursday (Oct. 20) there are several classes designed especially for journalism advisers. Topics include reporting, yearbook advising, design techniques, and modern trends in high school publications. If you are attending the conference, visit the “general” class section when you are registering and check out the offerings. Although MJEA is not officially one of the specialized groups listed, the classes are listed in the general section. We hope to see many of you in Helena on Thursday, Oct. 20.
