Over the course of 21 volumes, Best of the High School Press has been the premier showcase for award-winning student work for members of the National Scholastic Press Association.

The next edition of Best of the High School Press, Volume 22, will be published in 2017. Volume 22 will contain student publication content drawn mostly from the 2015-16 school year. This is your chance to get work published in Best of.

Volume 21 will be mailed to members at the start of the 2016-17 school year.

Any digital files entered in the 2016 individual award contests, such as Design of the Year, Picture of the Year and Cartooning Awards, will automatically be included in the Best of selection process, so any content entered in those contests can be excluded from Best of submissions.

Submit up to 10 designs, photos or other coverage you have not already submitted for Individual Awards. For more rules and guidelines, visit the contest entry page. 2015-2016 publication entries should be received by Sept. 30, 2016 to be considered for publication in Best of.
