Here are a few dates to be aware of. If you have never taken students to a national convention, maybe Indianapolis or Seattle could be added to your schedule. The conventions attract thousands of students and teachers from across the country. Classes range from software and design to photography, writing and broadcast. There is something for everyone. Make reservations as soon as possible for airfare and hotels, especially if you aim to stay in the convention hotel.

Nov. 10-13 – JEA/NSPA Fall National High School Journalism Convention, Indianapolis
April 6-9, 2017 – JEA/NSPA Spring National High School Journalism Convention, Seattle
